 This old footage from an British Pathe newsreel shows New Yorkers welcoming King Bhumipol to the Big Apple back in 1960.

In the “Thailand’s King Swings into New York” footage we see various shots of the King drive through a crowd-lined street in New York, with ticker-tape showering down.
